Program Overview:
We have successfully concluded a 10-session Peace Education Program (PEP) at Yellow Ribbon Changi Prison. This run was conducted in a hybrid format, comprising 3 face-to-face sessions and 7 virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams.
Participation and Engagement:
The participants were highly engaged throughout the program. Attendance was consistent, and the interactive format of the sessions encouraged open sharing and reflection. Feedback received from participants was very positive, with many expressing appreciation for the personal relevance and practicality of the content.
Program Highlights:
• Strong participant response to the core themes of inner strength, choice, hope, and peace.
• Facilitators noted high levels of attentiveness and respectful engagement.
• The hybrid model proved effective, with technology facilitating a smooth transition between in-person and online delivery.
Next Step:
We are pleased to have an upcoming opportunity to meet with the Prisons Director. We look forward to sharing feedback and exploring the possibility of extending the Peace Education Program to incarcerated individuals, as part of the institution’s rehabilitative and reintegration efforts.
